Description
EMERGENCY ALERT!
RINGLING GIVING AWAY 75₵ CIRCUS TICKETS AT CONSOL ENERGY CENTER TOMORROW MORNING!! PLEASE PROTEST IF YOU CAN!!
******Please forward widely******
Every year attendance at Ringling Bros. Circus performances has been dwindling as their deplorable record of animal abuse becomes more well-known and more and more compassionate people choose to forego the circus in favor of ethical animal-free entertainment. It is not surprising therefore that Ringling is trying to fill more empty arena seats by practically giving away circus tickets. What is surprising and extremely disappointing however, is that Consol Energy Center is is giving Ringling a leg up in this endeavor by partnering up and holding this joint birthday celebration together. This is inexcusable. By supporting and partnering with Ringling, Consol is giving their direct support to Ringling’s animal cruelty.
We know this is extremely last minute and most people are not able to attend events on a weekday morning, but if there is any possible way for you to attend this, WE NEED YOU!! VFA volunteers will be protesting outside the Consol Energy Center’s Trib Total Media Gate (where the crowds will be lining up) tomorrow morning starting at 8:30 AM (please feel free to come later as well if you need to). We will bring signs and leaflets. If you are able to come, please do, bring others along, and spread the word WIDELY.
If you are not able to come tomorrow, you can still help by calling the Consol Energy Center and voicing your outrage that they would partner with Ringling Bros. Circus and help them boost their dwindling ticket sales, which is only rightly deserved for their abysmal treatment of animals.
Please call Alyssa of Consol Energy Center’s marketing division and express your outrage:
